What is New York State Women, Inc.?
New York State Women, Inc. is a group that transitioned from Business and Professional Women (BPW) in July 2009.
Over one thousand women and men from 60 local organizations throughout New York State make up the membership of New York State Women, Inc. Our membership is diversified and does not represent any one specific industry or profession. Our mission is to build powerful women, professionally, personally and politically through advocacy, education and information. The overall goal is to be the leading advocate for working women in New York State.
What is the role of Tech Valley New York State Women, Inc.?
As a chapter of New York State Women, Inc., Tech Valley provides members with professional development programs, community service projects and activities, networking, participation in grassroots activism, and opportunities to support scholarships for disadvantaged women. It is our hope that by giving our members the tools to be stronger women, they can help other women become stronger.
